Our Client is a prestigious company operating in the Oil & Gas sector.
Answering to the HR Operations Manager, the main activities of the position include: implement and oversee the Project Employee and Industrial Relations strategy; provide expert advice and guidance on industrial and employee relations, compliance policies, and grievance handling; monitor contractors and subcontractors to ensure compliance with Mozambique labor law, IFC requirements (Performance Standard 2), ILO conventions, and project IR management plans; supervise the industrial relations service provider and ensure effective gap analysis of contractor IR practices; prepare written reports on IR activities, risks, and compliance status; develop and maintain policies for industrial and employee relations, grievance handling, and disciplinary procedures; hold meetings with government authorities, unions, CODIR members, managers, and other stakeholders to discuss IR matters; deliver IR overview presentations to project employees and other relevant stakeholders; support audits, reports, and studies related to industrial relations and follow up on recommendations; provide hands-on support to contractors and subcontractors in meeting statutory and project IR requirements; ensure contractors comply with Local Labor Recruitment Procedures in coordination with the Social Performance team; carry out any other duties as required to meet project objectives.
